Ticketplace is an innovative event ticketing platform designed to simplify and
enhance the event experience for both organizers and attendees. With a focus
on seamless user experiences and robust tools, Ticketplace bridges the gap
between event creators and audiences, making ticketing effortless, efficient,
and engaging.
Ticketplace empowers event creators by providing the tools they need to
succeed while delivering an exceptional experience for attendees. Whether
it’s a music concert, a business conference, or a local community gathering,
Ticketplace connects people to moments that matter.

The team identified significant pain points in the
event ticketing landscape that hindered both organizers and attendees from
having a seamless experience.
For Event Organizers:
Complex Ticket Management: Existing platforms lacked user-friendly
tools for managing ticket sales, tracking attendance, and analyzing
performance, leaving organizers overwhelmed and frustrated.
Limited Visibility: Small and mid-sized event creators struggled to
promote their events effectively, often losing out to larger competitors
with more resources.
High Fees: Many platforms charged hefty fees, cutting into profits and
discouraging creators from hosting events.
For Attendees:
Cumbersome Ticket Purchasing: Complicated checkouts and hidden fees leading
to abandoned carts and a poor user experience.
Difficulty in Finding Events: Attendees faced challenges in discovering events
aligned with their interests due to fragmented or poorly designed search and
recommendation features.
Lack of Flexibility: Limited ticketing options and inadequate customer support
left attendees dissatisfied when changes or issues arose.
Over the years most fintech solutions
have not been able to solve instant
payment transaction. There's always
complaints of bad or no network, failed
or reversed transactions. Meanwhile
if we are going to implore businesses that
are not tech savvy to embrace digital payment
processes, then we have to ensure we
are building a reliable payment infrastructure.
These people already have trust issues, we
cannot afford to add to their problem.

I begin by thoroughly reviewing the product feature document to
understand the core objectives, target audience, and functionality.
I analyze the problem it aims to solve and identify any gaps or
opportunities for enhancement. By breaking down each feature,
I envision potential user flows, edge cases, and design challenges.
This process helps me align my ideas with the product's goals while
ensuring a user-centered approach.

Seamless Check-in Process
Attendees have two easy options to check in upon arrival:
QR Code Check-in
Each attendee receives a unique QR code after ticket confirmation.On arrival, they simply present the QR code—either printed or on their
mobile device—which is instantly scanned by event staff or a self-check-in kiosk.
This method ensures quick verification and minimizes queues.
Email-based Manual Check-in
For attendees who may not have access to their QR code, a manualcheck-in option is available. By providing their registered email address
at the check-in desk, staff can quickly locate their booking and confirm attendance.

The highlight for me was working directly with the developers, managing the design end to end, making sure the Uis
were pixel perfect during implementation. I also got good feedbacks from people who tested the app. I am looking
